A Few of My Firsts!

Jackson has been a very active little boy! You know how his mama is...can't sit still for too long so we had Jackson on the go from the beginning! I will post a few pics of some of his first outings.

Jackson went to his 2 week appointment and had a clean bill of health! He weighed 8 lbs. on the dot and is 20.5 in. now. The doctor said he looks great and is right on track! Praise the Lord!

Welcome Jackson Dain Fisbeck!!!

I know it's been a while since I updated our blog. Things get kind of hectic with a 3 week old. We welcomed our precious baby boy, Jackson Dain Fisbeck in to the world on May 12, 2010 at 7:28 PM. He was 7 lbs. 11 oz. and 20 in. long. I was induced Wednesday morning and labored all day and ended up having to have a c section that evening. It was worth every second just to know my baby boy was safe and healthy!

Jackson was born with a FULL head of gorgeous blonde hair (hence my horrible heartburn during pregnancy). He is a spitting image of his daddy and that makes Brandon so proud everytime he hears that! :) I keep looking for something that I can claim on that child but I haven't found anything yet! I keep saying he'll have my personality. :) He has brought so much joy to our lives. Being parents is the most rewarding and the most amazing feeling to ever have!

We were so blessed to have almost all of our family there to welcome baby J! Gigi, Papa J, Jason, Alli, Great Grandma Nana, Grammie and Grandpa Darcy were all at the hospital. Unfortunately, Jackson's Great Grandma Bop was in the hospital with pnemonia. We missed her dearly but said lots of prayers for a speedy recovery! Jackson is blessed to have 6 great grandparents in his life! His other Great Grandparents live in Moulton and weren't able to make it Houston. We also missed Uncle Brent as he lives in Colorado now. We know Jackson will love all of his family and be loved in return! We can't wait for him to meet everyone!

We had a great time celebrating my 28th birthday. On Tuesday night me, my mom, Brandon, Alli and Griffin went to eat Mexican food in Katy. On Wednesday night my entire family (except Jason because he was busy with OTC) celebrated with an amazing dinner at Rainbow Lodge. The food and company was great! I have pictures that I will download soon. Our internet is temporarily broken but Geek Squad is coming out tomorrow to fix it. So stay tuned!

In the mean time....here's an amazing video that our music teacher, Traci Patterson made with my students. This absolutely melted my heart and brought tears to my eyes! Thank you Traci!!!

It's official (well sort of)!!! I went to the doctor yesterday and had a 3D ultrasound of little Jackson. He was moving his mouth, "practice breathing", holding his feet and was very actice. He even has neck rolls (it was so cute to see how chubby he is). Yesterday he weighed almost 7 pounds and is in the 75%!

After the ultrasound I went to my NST testing and had great results. There was no protein in my urine and my blood pressure was perfect!

Finally, I ended the day with the best news. I went to see my OBGYN and she was very pleased with my results. Then she told me she will be inducing me at 38 weeks!!!!! This makes Jackson's due date May 11, 2010 (she's inducing on that day or around there). She hasn't scheduled the induction yet because you can only do that one week prior to the date. So next week she will be scheduling it...Brandon and I are so happy! I'm ready....I've been ready. 13 days from today we will get to finally meet our little baby boy!

Thanks Gigi for lugging around the medical center with me all day! She was a trooper. :)

All We Need is Jackson!

Here's the completed nursery. All we need is Jackson. We've had so much fun decorating Jackson's room. We want him to have a safe haven and we're so happy with how it turned out. We love you Jackson and can't wait to see your precious face in that crib!

Other Special Gifts....

This is another one of our favorite gifts! These needlepoint's are over 30 years old. My mom made them when she was pregnant with my brother. I thought they were absolutely precious and I'm so glad Jackson can use them in his nursery now. Thanks mom! We will cherish these! Love you!


We got the transportation system from my Nana and all of my Aunts! Thanks so much....we will definitely be using this!



We loved this sweet basket with Jackson's name on it. We used it to put his books in there.

Love this precious little backpack for Jackson! Can't wait to fill it up and take it with us! :)
